Coming up in Changsha:

WEDNESDAY 21 NOVEMBER 2012

Horrible building, horrible rendering, horribly out of scale, and if it ever gets off the ground it will put Changsha on the map for all the wrong reasons.

Why does the rendering show Chicago in the foreground?

Reality tends to matter little. In urban design and architectural proposals in china the existing context is often obscured as much as possible, or simply ignored. In this case, I suppose, nodody really cares because nobody believes its a runner.

In any case here is an actual photo of the actual skyline of Changsha following a shocker of a housing development recently completed.
