Nathan Phillips Square Design Competition Finalists' Design Submissions
In 2006 the City of Toronto organised an international design competition for the revitalization of Nathan Phillips Square. The Square is the premier public space and civic gathering place for Torontonians, a leading tourist attraction for the City, and a national and provincial landmark. The design competition was an international, two-stage open process, with submissions to both stages to be evaluated by a Competition Jury who will select the winning design and design team. Four outstanding design teams were selected as finalists to compete in Stage II of the international competition to revitalize this important public space.
