There is a Pedestrian Bridge design competition going on in Pittsburgh, PA.

West End Pedestrian Bridge Competition

The deadline to register is December 21, 2005.
It is an international competition that is open to Architects, Landscape Architects, Urban Designers, Engineers, Industrial Designers, Artists, and Students.
