Pocket helps London’s singles and couples on low to moderate incomes own a home of their own

We are looking for an intern architect to join this young, fast growing business based in Central London in August (see: ) Ideally a mature student with some working architectural experience, you are either doing a PhD or a one-year MSc and want to spend half of your week getting practical experience in a fast moving environment. We are looking for a minimum commitment of six months.

The candidate should have a solid working knowledge of VectorWorks or similar, Photoshop, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign or QuarkXPress with a working knowledge of Access.

Your tasks will include: preparing density sketches for sites, liaising with our team of external architects to perfect designs, preparing presentations and meeting with planners.

Internships are a great opportunity---even if unpaid. I did my first internship for a non-profit and it was rewarding---both personally and professionally.
