Looks like typical Portuguese modestly fascist public architecture. This building could have been made by any anonymous architect working for the government of the time.
[Please don't get me wrong, I'm just saying that this kind of architecture was common under the Salazar regime].

pardal monteiro was known for doing these buildings of the (chao) period...its portugals art decco...probably turn of century or early 19th...yes that would be under salazaar...up until 74... lisbon has a station or two very similar, thats why i believe it was him
