Transparent Concrete
A new material is bringing amplified life to an old concept: the sunny room.
The material is translucent concrete. The goal is to create see-through buildings. The first samples were produced in September 1999. Does anyone else knows more about it's REAL application and comercializtion apart from this?:

ps. This new material, if it preserves it's acustic and termal properties is good for countries like Ireland but believe me that here it would increase a lot our solar exposithion problems...
