Architecture in New Zealand
"New Zealand architecture has followed a similar pattern to that of Australia. New fashions, originating overseas, were adopted very slowly, because New Zealand, like Australia, was a long way from Europe." And so begins a detailed site into architectural development in New Zealand. A basic site design but with a wealth of information on an often overlooked country from Maori times to the late 20th century. From an Irish perspective, it is interesting to see how a county similar in population has developed after been ruled from London. Visit
