2002 - a year in architecture....

Most over-rated building of the year is Swiss Re in London.
Best TV programme on architecture was either the one on why the WTCNY fell down (though that may have been on in 2001) or a series on massive US engineering projects which covered things like the ESB, Hoover Dam and the like.
Favourite building of the year is hard. Favourite in Ireland is probably the library in Trinity, followed by the George's Quay offices. I can't think of anything world-class built anywhere last year; I'm sure other people will have some ideas.
Best book - well, they're both websites/CDROMS, but the reflecting city and the DDDA development plan were both fun; I'd love to see some of it going ahead but I expect we'll get STW boxes instead.
