The clothes would have to be black, obviously (is this different in Portugal, Rita?).

And then the furniture, hmm. In the 1920s Edwin Lutyens designed a neo-Georgian doll's house. How about a minimalist doll's house by John Pawson or Tadao Ando?

Question: could Barbie recognize something non-pink and minimalist as furniture? What kind of education are we giving to our young gilrs ?!

Fact: a leading British architecture school, not so long ago, ran a semi-serious course that it described as "Barbie-tecture".

I think this was post-modern irony.

barbie doll is the symbol of the independent women

she has to have a great wardrobe with clothes for every ocasion, she has meetings, parties, works with computers, visit the buildings

i really think that she has to bring in her box a big suitcase

...also smokes a lot, drinks a lot of coffe, doesn't sleep much, is always stressed writting notes on her PDA while stucked in the traffic and has at least 2 mobile phones. And if she is an architect what is Ken ?...

she doesn't smoke
she is an ecological architect
she does yoga, drinks lots of coffe (and as always an headake)
she like designer clothes, and designer furniture
she has a great apartment with a great view
and she lives there with ken that works in finance or e-comerce
they usually go on hollidays to exoctic places (barbies does some shopping and learns something about the local architecture and Ken takes a rest of his busy life)
