Villa urbaine - international contest open to students of Schools of Architecture

Part of the Lille conurbation, the town of Lambersart is known for the diversity and the quality of its many villas. Il has decided to organize an international contest open to students of Schools of Architecture, the subject of which is the urban villa, built individually or on a housing estate.

Registration Deadline: 31th December 2002
Submission Deadline: 31th October 2003
Open to: all students of Schools of Architecture
Entry Fee: none

Awards: 1st prize : 1525 Euros
2nd prize : 1220 Euros
3rd prize : 915 Euros
4th-5th-6th prizes : 150 Euros
Travelling and accommodation expenses will be paid to the first three laureates.
The projects will receive massive publicity.
A catalogue of the projects will be published.

Jury: François Chaslin (Critic), Xavere Degeyter (Architect), Anne Lacaton (Architect), Bart Lootsma (Critic), Jose Luis Matteo (Architect), Alvaro Siza (Architect), Nathan Starkman (Director of the Agence de Développement et d'Urbanisme de Lille Métropole).
