God, I hope so.........though the level of applique on the scottish parliament is becoming increasingly worrying.

And what the hell are those bamboo poles about?

i like it and do think it will be great. a fine addition to scottish architecture. pity it wasn't designed by a scot.

Wish I could be as confident Fin. Like the curate's egg.........some parts are good, bits are even exceptional but other sections are frankly, wacky. Overwrought and overscaled.

Still might all come good in the end and we'll see how the whole thing fits together and it'll be feckin brilliant right enough.

If it is less than we hope, I think you might find though the good bits will have been designed by a Catalan and the not so good bits by a Jock or Tam right enough......at least that'll be the story
