Saw it for the first time in Easons recently... so picked one up just to get a subscription form.... no website listed inside.

No they don't - the Blueprint publishers, called ETP, have a small stable of design mags including FX but don't seem to have embraced web publishing in the way that, say, EMAP has done with the Architects' Journal, New Civil Engineer etc.
Personally, I like a magazine or newspaper's website to be an updated version of the publication itself, with much of the same feel. I'm not so keen on those portmanteau sites where a number of publications are essentially slammed together and the personality is lost.
An example of the latter is Mad.co.uk, which includes Design Week, Creative Review etc but is somehow a character-free zone. Emap does better: there's some overlap, but the very different personalities of their publications are allowed to come through. An example is the AJ at www.ajplus.co.uk.
