work experience in the UK

I intend to come to England for 6 to 12 months in march 2002 and would like to find a job in an architecture office (London + surrounding area, Birmingham) during that time. At the moment I am studying architecture at the University of applied sciences in Hamburg, Germany in the 4th year. I hope to finish my studies and obtain my diploma in march 2003.
Apart from my studies I am working in an architecture office, PPL Hamburg, as a freelance.
