modern country house

Postby MG » Fri Apr 27, 2001 8:21 am

I have a vague memory of a house that I saw on tv several years ago. A modernist (postwar) house built on the site of a larg victorian country seat. The house had been damaged during the war after been used as a military hospital (I seem to remember) and the owners decided to demolish it and rebuild. The new house then was sited on the original site beside the remnants of the original house including a chapel and a tower.

Anyone know the name of the house?
