Brunelleschi on TV the other week-any good?

'Renaissance Secrets' on BBC2 was devoted to him and his incredible Cupola for the Duomo in Florence. I missed it - AAARRGGHH !

Anybody see it?

If you liked it you might enjoy Giorgio Vasari's Biography of Filippo B. from 1500's.

I reccommend George Bull's translation of the 'The Lives of the Artist's'. Widely available. It's very entertaining and inspiring. The rivalry between him and Lorenzo Ghiberti makes great reading!

You'll also find it on the web if you search for it though I can't vouch for the quality.
