It is now 5 years since the Irish Planning Matters forum was established and it has been highly successful in providing a neat box to deal with

(i) An advice forum for planning queries
(ii) A discussion forum for legislative planning changes
(iii) A discussion forum for planning decisions which seem a little odd
(iv) A place to highlight a lack of enforcement

It has also become a repository for a number of discussions on major transport projects; I would suggest that these should gain their own forum to ensure that this information remains focussed and to ensure that threads in the first four categories don't get buried.
