Question.
Firstly - well done on this website which I just found recently. Shocked to see that it is online for years. Why haven't I heard of it? It doesn't seem to get much publicity in the papers or journals, a pity as it could be so much better with more discussion of architecture issues.

Re: Question.
Thanks
Archiseek.com does get publicity - but you need to look hard. We get mentioned in The Architectural Review regularly (or annually
) and newspapers less often. The site did get a fair amount of publicity over the U2 Competition / Debacle (delete as appropriate)

So it is focused publicity
Unfortunately what seems to happen is that the site and discussion gives the watching journalists ideas for articles. But instead of using the site for some good accredited vox pops quotes, they ring the RIAI etc for a comment or dress the discussion up as their own thoughts and theories.
This I can understand - if I was writing for a living, I'd start threads here every day to get my column together!
That's life really. I wish we did get more publciity as it always brings more people onboard....
Perhaps we need another fubared competition.....
One thing I'm toying with for site promotion and this wouldnt take much work as most of it is being done already for site updates is a syndicated column - latest news from the world of architecture - just a series of shorts of news from around the world. Libeskind to build new condo tower in Toronto kind of thing... and have it authored by Archiseek.com
