Following the discussion on O'Connell Street House and other earlier thoughts perhaps it is possible to set up a DWG openware part of this or another site so that people can contribute to the recording of Dublin (and other places) through survey material, that would be of benefit to everyone. While there are those who would see a copyright problem with new work, work older than say 100 years could be added and if improved could be replaced by the community at large. Imagine every street in Dublin in CAD format.
