New look & 404 errors
Ove rthe next week to ten days, you'll see parts of the website replaced with the new design - indeed this board has already received the treatment.
As part of the redesign, some areas are being moved or removed, so until the entire renovation is finished, there may be the odd 404 error.
I apologise in advance and thank you for your patience as we aim to make Archeire bigger and better than before.

Basically, the previous design did not allow for expansion. There was no room for extra sections. Also the different "look and feel" for many sections made it feel like a huge collection of sites rather than one large portal. This also meant that sections like Architectural Dublin which has much more links to it that other areas received most of the traffic without giving visitors the chance to visit other parts of the site as there was no common naviagation.
So, the following sections are going to have a similar look: Architectural Dublin, Michael Scott, Eileen Gray, Busaras, and all the pages with the old blue and grey look. The sites of the organisations are to remain as is. We have some new sections coming online shortly including the sites of a few new organisations. Also coming are new architectural guides to buildings and places. These will also receive the same treatment. We're consolidating the remainder of the site, removing features like the monthly newsletter which proved unsuccessful.
The aim of this is to turn Archeire into one of the biggest county specific architectural sites on the Internet, and also to render it less Dublin-o-centric.
