paddys day parade
were proposing a float this year in the paddys day parade as architectural students of ireland to encourage and promote contemporary architecture in ireland, the float could take the form of an integrated project in college through the 5 years, and any other members of the public who wish to.
it will also foster increased communication between the 3 arch. schools. this will be something real - that will be brought from conception to fruition and will be designed and built by us. itll be also a bit a aul craic, be jaysus.
we need: people who want to design and actually build something. doing.
themes for the float
this could be sponsored by the RIAI
interested parties please give us ideas,
thank you!!!!!!!!!

Well I suppose you could have a float with all of Irelands more renowned building structures....from Newgrange up to eh...well Liberty Hall or whatever......nothing remarkably contemporary to note I suppose........
...and you could throw in the Halpenny Bridge too. Have students dressed as buildings too or renowned Irish/Anglo-Irish architects......Gandon,Chambers, (Sam Stevenson) he he etc....
