i maybe a bit late in replying but anyway. on the topic of the lights in cork city. have you seen them lit up at night? theyre actually quite nice, give a very stage lighted effect - gives an atmosphere to confused street at the moment. and as for the new buildings opposite to city hall - i dont agree with concrete cookie cutter apartment blocks but i like the contrast of new and old buildings together if its done correctly
