Were there any buildings built in the last year that you thought were worthy of an award, lads? This project-by-project deconstruction and nitpicking session seems very glass half empty stuff.. How about establishing the Archiseek Forum Planning and Functionality Awards as a counterpoint to the dastardly AAI and their superficial aesthetic assessments? ;)

The stuff that wins the AAI is always very good stuff,
. . . . usually, looking back, it is the best stuff produced that year, but that doesn't mean it's above criticism or that that we should just accept every claim at face value.

It's just a discussion :)
