Design advcie agency

Design advcie agency

Does Ireland have an equivilent of CABE in England, or Architecture and Design Scotland, to advise on design matters? Im working outside Ireland for quite a few years but I havent seen such a group whose advice can be used by LAs in determining applications and plan making.

Unfortunately no. Planners (geography students/statisticians) decide if a building is aesthetically appropriate.
