Anyone know who the designers / architects of 'The White Horse' on the Dublin quays was?

Its all a bit cliched in places but there are very interesting threads on the staircase - slices of wood and slices of acrylic which when lit from below creates an interesting effect.

Is there anybody out there who knows anything about the architecture of Irish/Dublin pubs? Could somebody perhaps recommend something other than a coffe table book on the subject.
I am doing a dissertation of the 'cultural aspects of the Irish 'theme bar' which is why I'm interested.
