Rail chaos for a second day looming
"Iarnród Éireann has said it expects disruption to DART services, caused by an unstable crane in the Ringsend area of Dublin, to continue for the rest of today and possibly into tomorrow morning.
There are no trains running between Pearse Street and Lansdowne Road stations because of the crane, which is dangling close to a railway line.
Work is continuing to try to make safe the building site.
A spokesperson for Danninger Ltd, the developers of the site at Barrow Street, said they hoped to be able to take the crane down later today.
Trains are scheduled to run every 20/30 minutes between Lansdowne Road and Greystones. Northside DART services are also subject to minor delays.
About 60 people had to spend the night away from their homes at Barrow Street because of fears that the structure would collapse."
They hoped to be able to take down today,
