O'Connell Street Regeneration

O'Connell Street Regeneration

Postby J. Seerski » Wed Aug 27, 2003 2:59 pm

Had a peek at the new granite paving laid (opposite Clerys). It takes the form of flat cobbles. A bit septic and lifeless.

But at least its underway. For the life of me I do not understand why they bothered paving around the spire and then removed it - within a month! another waste of much needed money...

I so want to see whats going on but won't be in the city for another few weeks - I hate the summer!
I was wondering if they were going to go ahead with those cobbles.
Is any work underway on the Royal Dublin by any fluke?
