Another new landmark
New ESB generating plant gets go-ahead
An Bórd Pleannála has given the go-ahead for the construction of an new ESB power generating plant at Ringsend ESB station in Dublin. The generating station at Pigeon House Road will cover 60,000 square meters and include two chimney stacks of 70 meters in height. The board has imposed a number of conditions, including a landscaping scheme.
How high are the existing stacks
BTW I'm not being sarcastic about the landmark, afterall, the existing stacks are a very recognisable symbol of Dublin
