A tacky interior to an art deco cocktail lounge would be pretty authentic. Must pay a visit this weekend.

What defines tacky? In terms of cost - it certainly has been a lavish spend on the building - apparently over 2 million. Retro sometimes is called tacky, but then where would we be in describing the GPO, Clerys etc - all retro classical....

There was a long queue of young patrons outside last night, almost spilling out on to the road, so that business seems to be good.
