Anyone recognise this?

I've been forwarded this image by a couple in Australia who found this image behind a painting. They thought that maybe it was Belfast.

Looks more like a Belgian scene than a Belfast scene, could it be Brussels?

its not that obviousin this smaller version but there's a Doubledecker bus in the bottom right corner which means its either UK / Ireland

Almost true about UK/Ireland
but double deckers are not entirely unknown in Europe, - Berlin for example uses them.
Certainly Brussels has never had them, so that theory goes down
