What did you think of Concordia? We're doing another one across the street from it soon.

Loved it - a major landmark along that stretch of St-Catherine. Was really visible from our hotel as well. My photos don't do it justice as the light (such as it was) was fading fast, but I really liked the massing and the splash of colour, and teh way it hits the street. Quite a welcoming building I thought,.

It's been fairly well received, as far as I know. Manitoba is very much the evolution of the Concordia design, should be interesting to see how well it finishes.

btw, I'll be joining my new employers out west as of the beginning of December. The appeal finally came through after five months...

KPMB building looks like the usual clumsy mish mash of oversized aluminium profiles to me. Attempt at definition with the fifties profile to the roof on top but otherwise in terms of execution, it seems rather poor.
Obviously without plans its hard to comment on what it achieves for its context or programme. Maybe this is just as good as it gets in North America.

Heading back to Montreal for the Grand Prix in June, will probably grab some more shots of the old city

you should consider to go by the TOHU building or center, the cirque du soleil have their training spaces in that area as well, it's a beautiful porject, the cirque is mostly paying for that ''district''

There is always Westmount square done by Mies van der rohe.. but i'm sure that this was already covered somewhere in here!
